Which smart control?
The boiler maker's own
Controls like Worcester Bosch EasyControl and Baxi uSense talk directly to the boiler and can turn its output up and down, rather than just switching it on and off. That's where the real efficiency gains are.
Hive, Nest, tado and others
Good apps, multi-room features and smart home links. They work with most boilers, though not always with the same fine control as the manufacturer's own.
We'll recommend what suits your boiler, your house and how you like to control things. If you already know which one you want, we'll fit that.

Zoning and smart radiator valves
Most homes heat every room to the same temperature whether anyone's in it or not. Splitting the house into zones, or fitting smart radiator valves room by room, means the spare bedroom isn't heated all day and the living room is warm when you sit down in the evening.
Weather compensation and Boiler Plus
In England, the Boiler Plus rules mean a new combi boiler has to be fitted with an extra energy-saving measure: weather compensation, load compensation, flue gas heat recovery or a smart thermostat with automation and optimisation. We make sure every boiler we fit meets the rules and pick the option that will save you the most.
Weather compensation is worth knowing about. A small sensor outside tells the boiler how cold it is, so on mild days it runs cooler and spends more time in its most efficient range. You barely notice it, apart from the bills.
Set up so you'll actually use it
We don't fit a thermostat and leave the box on the side. Schedules, hot water times, frost protection and the app on your phone are all set up before we go, and we show everyone in the house how to use it.
We install smart heating controls across Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Wellesbourne and Stratford-upon-Avon, plus the villages in between.
