What we do most
We take on all sorts of heating and plumbing, but most of our work is boiler installations, hot water cylinders and underfloor heating. A boiler only works as well as the system it's connected to, so we look at the pipework, controls and hot water as well as the boiler itself.
Over the last ten years Matt has also installed heating systems in showrooms and training centres for one of the UK's leading heating manufacturers.
How we work
- Matt does the survey and the quote himself. The person who looks at your system is the person responsible for fitting it.
- Quotes are fixed and in writing. They say what's being fitted and what's included, so nothing extra appears halfway through.
- Prices are reviewed regularly so they stay competitive.
- If a repair makes more sense than a new boiler, we'll say so.

Qualifications and accreditations
- Gas Safe registered, number 914016. Check the register.
- Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer. Longer guarantees available on qualifying Worcester Bosch boilers.
- Baxi Approved Installer. Longer guarantees available on qualifying Baxi boilers.
- City & Guilds Level 3 in plumbing and heating.
- Unvented hot water (G3) qualified, so we can fit and sign off unvented cylinders.
- 12-month guarantee on all our workmanship, on top of any manufacturer's guarantee.
What Matt's Gas Safe card covers
Every gas engineer's Gas Safe ID card lists the work they're qualified to do. This is what's on Matt's. The Building Regulations column means we can sign off our own work on things like unvented cylinders and new heating systems, and Building Control is notified for you.
